Booked a room for Vegas at New Years, I bet that’s going to be an insane trip. And if all goes as planned, I’ll be getting something no one expected. ;)

I want to be that girl. You know, the tall, skinny, awkward, but still insanely gorgeous girl that not a lot of people notice. I want to have style, I want to have fun. I want to be in such a love that distracts me from normal life. I want to have the impossible, see the hidden, hear the muffled. I want to experience the inexperienced. I want to travel the world, and be home in time for dinner. I want to be known but not seen. I want to be adored. I want to be amazing at something. I want somebody who thinks I’m amazing at something I’m really not good at. I want somebody to whisper sweet nothings into my ear & sing me to sleep.
But I’ve learned. We can’t all get what we want. Some of us are blessed with pretty faces and slim figures. Others have incredible abilities. Some get both. Some get none. I think some of us were meant to be watchers, listeners, seers. Not doers. Some of us were meant to stand back while others take the lead. It’s just our role in society. Does the fact that I realize this make it hurt any less, when I’m all alone in my room at night, crying myself to sleep, again? No. But that’s life. You live life to the fullest extent and hope for the best. If you don’t come out on top, well that’s okay too, but you have to give it your all, because if you don’t, you have nothing in this world to live for.
